    A tribal articles by his friends, colleagues and students offered to Dhammasariya U Htay Hlaing (1931-2004), one of the eminent writers of Buddhist literature in Myanmar. In his early monk-hood he took part in the sixth Buddhist council held in Yangon in 1954-56. He produced a number of famous books on Buddhist literature including Biography of Eminent Arahats or Monks attained arahatship.
