always trying to improve our contents. |
| We are happy to announce that we
will be uploading the following database (in addition to the current databases)
to our membership program with effect from August 2007 onwards. |

get access to these databases. |

Color Parabaik Manuscript Database (In
English) |
| |
Color parabaik or paper folded manuscripts
are extremely rare. We have digitize almost all the collection of Universities
Central Library, Universities Research Centre, Archaeology Department and
National Library. Moreover, color parabaiks from private collection are
also. |
| Two main sections are present
in this database as follows: |
| a. |
Court Etiquette such as royal regalia, royal
costumes and royal donation accasion. |
| b. |
Palace Plan : containing floor plan with detail
description of famous palaces of Myanmar. One and only primary source of
information on palace plan and design of Myanmar. |
| 2. |
Biographies of most prominent
authors of 20th century (In English) |
| Containing biographies of over 200
famous authors of Myanmar. This database gives not only biographies but
also famous bibliographies and their literary reviews are given. A wonderful
database for those who wants to study literature of Myanmar. |

Gazetteer of Burma Database (In English)
|
| |
Gazetteer of fifteen famous districts are digitized
and OCR was done. Text searching is possible and useful searching facility
are present. Physical description, archaeology, history, races, geography,
geology and administration of these districts were prepared by British District
Officers during the colonial period and up to now these reports are the
only source of information available to study on these districts. Rare gazetteer
like “Gazetteer of Upper Burma and Shan State” by Sir George
Scott is also present in this database. |

More Records to Traditional
Myanmar Manuscript Database |
| Over 1,000 records will be uploaded
to our current “Traditional Myanmar Manuscript Database”. All
these records are collected from black parabaiks from Central Myanmar. |

More e-Books and e-articles |

Myanmar Book Centre has signed with many copy
right holders (both publishers and authors) and got exclusive online reseller
rights. Many e-Books and e-articles will be uploading on our current databases
for our members. |
| Because of these further investments
by our company, we are unable to continue with our current membership subscription
rate. We had reviewed our membership subscription rate as follows: |

For individual scholar/researcher |
: US$ 100 p.a |
| 2. |
For institution |
: US$ 500 p.a |
| These revised rates will be started to effect
from future registration from August onwards. As for current members, there
will be no extra charge until the termination of current membership program. |
| Above mentioned rates are just covering
part of our investment. But, we are trying our best to fulfill our members’
requirement with most reasonable price. |
| We do hope that the above mentioned
price meet your requirement. We will also commit to give more contents to
our members in the coming years. |
