This Database CD-Rom is combined with the Index to the Journal of the Burma Research Society (1911-1977) compiled by U Than Aung ( Rangoon : Department of Library Studies, Diploma in Librarianship,1978)

It is made up of 59 volumes, published over period of 70 years. It includes a total of 136 Journals comprising of more than 1300 articles, 30,000 pages of text and over 500 photos, graphs, charts and maps. A total of 377 authors are represented and 631 subjects are included. Searches of database can be carried out by author, title, subject volume number and publication year.
